Professor Michael McDermott and Dr Siniša Savić from LIRMM have been awarded a grant as part of the Horizon 2020 programme.
The grant will fund an EU wide study involving 23 European partners (19 universities and 4 small enterprises).
The principal aim of the project, named ImmunAID (Immunome project consortium for Autoinflammatory Disorders) is to improve the recognition, diagnosis and treatment of systemic autoinflammatory disorders.
The University of Leeds was awarded a budget of £1,131,091 from the total of 16 million Euros.
