Professor Marzo-Ortega and the BSR-PsA team at Leeds, were awarded a certificate of recognition by the BSR, acknowledging their outstanding efforts and contributions to the BSR-PsA.

This recognition highlights the team’s commitment to advancing research and improving outcomes for patients living with PsA.

The BSR-PsA is a national research initiative that monitors the progress of individuals diagnosed with the condition who are beginning treatment with Disease Modifying Anti-Rheumatic Drugs (DMARDs). It also includes a comparison cohort of patients not receiving these treatments, offering critical insights into disease progression and therapeutic efficacy.

The register plays a vital role in generating high-quality, real-world evidence to inform clinical practice and improve patient care.

This well-deserved recognition underscores Professor Marzo-Ortega’s leadership in rheumatology research and the BSR-PsA team’s invaluable contribution to understanding and treating psoriatic arthritis.

We extend our warmest congratulations to Professor Marzo-Ortega and all those involved in this important initiative.
