Rachel is the NIHR Leeds BioMedical Research Centre Database Manager overseeing the systems and tools that enable us to collect and store clinical and imaging data securely. She is a member of the British Computer Society (West Yorkshire branch) and specialises in data engineering, SQL, Python development and the WAMP stack. Rachel enjoys learning new technology and is member of the Python North West users group, the AWS Leeds user group, the Ministry of Testing Leeds, and the Empowering Women with Technology group. Before moving to Leeds from Oxford in 2017, Rachel worked for the University of Oxford, the Myers Briggs Company and the Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals Trust.
Outside of work she enjoys HIIT workouts, spending time with her family, cooking from her many Joe Wicks recipe books, and long walks in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside.
