The Leeds BRC/LIRMM Gait Analysis Laboratory

The Gait Analysis laboratory provides research facilities dedicated to motion analysis. It is situated in the heart of Chapel Allerton Hospital.

Equipment in the Gait Analysis laboratory includes an eight-camera Vicon MX system. This is coupled with twin Bertec force plates, EMED and plantar pressure equipment, Polhemus electromagnetic motion tracking. The equipment is complemented by remote activity monitoring and a twenty-foot Gait Rite instrumented walkway.
