Join the Voice pilot project

The VOICE pilot project at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust offers an exciting opportunity to get involved in a Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) pilot project using this innovative platform.

What is VOICE?

VOICE is an online platform used to involve  patients, carers and members of the public in the development, design and distribution of health research.

It compromises of a large network of citizens across the UK and internationally. Members sign-up to the platform and select their areas of interest. They can contribute immense insights, experience, ideas and vision. This helps to identify unmet needs and opportunities to drive innovation for ageing  and improve health research.

Take part in the VOICE pilot with your PPI activity

The University of Leeds, Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and the NIHR@Leeds Partnership have been lucky to secure a trial  period of the VOICE platform. We are looking for researchers to join in a pilot project with us. This is a great opportunity to expand the reach of your patient and public involvement activity to a national audience engaged with online activities.

The deadline for expressions of interest is  30 November 2021.

A decision will be made on the patient and  public involvement activities in December. We would like to start developing your idea with you in January 2022 , with the aim of advertising your activity on VOICE in February and it running February/March time.

You will be supported by an experienced team, so this is also a great opportunity to develop your skills around patient and public              involvement and implement it in the design and development of your research.

Register your interest using the online form
