Leeds BRC clinicians have recently received awards and promotions.
We were excited to hear Dr Caroline Young was awarded the CL Oakley lecture and received the medal of the Pathological Society of Great Britain and Ireland at Liverpool Pathology 2023.
They were also appointed to Consultant in Histopathology.
The objective of the Oakley lectureship is to stimulate original studies in scientific laboratory medicine and encourage and reward young people in research.
We were also pleased and proud to hear the news Dr Kate Marks was appointed to the prestigious role of NIHR Clinical Lecturer in Pathology. Dr Henry Wood and Dr Susan Richman were appointed as lecturers in Pathology and Dr Michelle Morris has been promoted to a Chair in Food Science.
