Kerrie Bonning

I joined the MRI team at BRC in July 2019. In 2005 I qualified from the University of Portsmouth with a BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography and later obtained a PGCert in MRI Imaging from the University of Bradford in 2017.

Previously I have worked in X-Ray, Angiography, Mammography and CT, I worked at St Georges Hospital, London, then The Royal Marsden, London, before joining The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in 2014 to specialise in MRI. More recently I have worked at a private clinic in Leeds focused on Musculoskeletal MRI scans of athletes and elite sports people.

The Leeds BRC has recently installed a new 3T Siemens VIDA MRI scanner. This will help us to provide state of the art imaging to support research studies. Some of the studies that the MRI team are currently involved with are CCP, LOHC, GOLMEPSA, MISTER and STRIKE.

I am currently studying for an MSc in Medical Imaging at The University of Leeds.
