Dr. David Lunn works as a Research Fellow at the Leeds Biomedical Research Centre and has been successful in securing an NIHR Short Placement Award for Research Collaboration (SPARC) to collaborate with Newcastle. These funds will be used to initiate new collaborations between the Leeds and Newcastle Biomedical Research Centre's. Dr Lunn will spend time with Dr Lisa Alcock from Newcastle Biomedical Research Centre working on data from the ICICLE Gait study. The study will explore the role of attention during walking using data collected from people with Parkinson's disease and cutting edge technologies and novel paradigms. This represents an excellent opportunity for the transfer of new knowledge between groups and opens channels for future collaboration.
