About the session: The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Leeds Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) is an international leader in translational musculoskeletal (conditions that affect muscles, joints, and bones. For example, rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis) research hosted within Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust, and bringing together two leading University of Leeds institutes, the Leeds Institute of Rheumatic and Musculoskeletal Medicine (LIRMM) and the Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering (iMBE), both of which have the delivery of patient-focused research driven by scientific evidence at the core of their activities.
