NIHR Leeds BRC has appointed new co-leads to its musculoskeletal theme workstreams and in our EDI (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion) and Research Culture areas.
We are delighted to welcome Professor Heidi Siddle (left) as co-lead to workstream seven of the Musculoskeletal Disease theme, and Dr Sunil Daga as our new co-lead for EDI and Research Culture.
Prof Siddle is currently Professor of Musculoskeletal Health and Head of Clinical Biomechanics and Physical Medicine at the Leeds Institute of Rheumatic and Musculoskeletal Medicine within the University of Leeds. She is also a Consultant Podiatrist at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (LTHT).
Dr Daga will bring his expertise as Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Leeds and Honorary Consultant Nephrologist at LTHT.
We congratulate and welcome both of them to their new roles and look forward to working with them in their respective positions.
